Media player or video troubles? I've downloaded a few movies (avi format) and haven't been able to play any of them for different reasons. First, I've been using Windows Media Player for years on this computer and have never encountered a problem. I just checked to see if I needed to update drivers for everything and nothing needed it. My first 2 downloads seem to play the sound, but there's no picture. During my most recent try to play something, this box came up and said: Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For additional assistance, click Web Help. What to do??? |
Try these here. you need these to play some of the formats. |
Great tip - works like a charm! Thanks for your quick advice.... |
