Default Limewire, iTunes, and WMP

Ok, so I have iTunes and Wmp on my computer, and when i search songs in limewire, it only has the icon for iTunes, and the downloaded songs go straight to iTunes, how do I get them to automatically go to Wmp?

Check out the guide below for how to have WMP monitor folders (to send files to WMP).

A "cousin" to the above problem. My LimeWire player coughs and hiccups when I move the Elevator bar (to the far right in Windows XP Internet Explorer). So, says I, I'll just use the WMP. I have several playlists that I made from songs in shared (as far as my poor old brain remembers).
Here is what I was trying. In one Windows I have "my computer" showing my LimeWire shared files. In the other window, I have the WMP opened up to edit the current playlist.
I "drag and drop" from "my computer" to WMP playlist. Everything looks normal, song titles are added, seconds to play show and add up other songs as added. Okay I click "ok" on the WMP edit current playlist. Guess what, when I try to play the play list, nothing there,
say What?? I edit the playlist now, it is empty (ie songs "dragged and dropped have disappeared). I'm real confused!
Oh for "the good old days" when you could type "copy a to b".
TYVM!!
