download limewire, start it up, restarts comp?
 

ok so ive tryed this a million times, and even deleted everything off the hard drive, and reloaded windows, and still i download limewire, it downloads fine, and then i hit launch after download and the little window comes up that sais loading limewire and then my computer just shuts off, and starts back up. anyone know how to fix this??? i need limewire noww. and i tried frostwire and that did the same thing. bear share worked but i dont like it. anyhelp???? PLEASEEE

Sounds like a hardware driver incompatibility with Java. Make sure all your drivers are up to date. And check for reports for bugs with present version drivers. Also, if you have a utility called Alcohol, remove it. It can clash with LW.

After deleting your LW prefs & starting up, under LW's menu bar, Tools > Options > Advanced > System startup disable that option & under Performance, disable all those options for time being, if you are able to get to those options before problems. OH & System Tray/Shutdown option set to close LW immediately.
