Lime wire opens and runs for awhile then closes.

Need help please. My limewire opens up and allows me to start downloads and view some then closes unexpectidly. When you run your mouse over the icon in your bottom right tool tray it dissapears too.

As it is running the program closes unexpectantly and the green and yellow icon in the lower right tray closes as I place the mouse on it. Also sometimes the entire screen turns patterned blue. I am running XP SP2.
