im confuzzled...can anyone tell me how to revert to an older version of limewire? i used to have the 4.14 version and it was working perfectly fine..but for some unknown reason i decided to update to the 4.16 version and now my previously downloaded files don't show up in my library.they show up in the search tab, sure, but i can't play or rename them. help anyone? :confused::(

use the add folder option in library

default location of your downloaded music from previous versions would be:

C:\Documents and Settings\**Your Username**\Documents\Shared

I have the exact same problem, by mistake I downloaded the new version and now I can only find 77 of my old files (the ones being shared appearently). I didnt rly get sleepless' tip. Any others?

Try searching for your missing files by going(from your desktop) to Start > Search > All Files and Folders, and search for one of you files. It should come up in the search and you should be able to find the location from that.

The default location of your shared files in the previous version of LW was C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared, check that location for your files.

Once you find them you can add them to your LW library. Just open LW and go to Tools > Options > Sharing, click on "Add" and browse to the location of your files and add them to your library.
