Limewire shows the loading screen, then disappears

Hi all,

When I open Limewire it shows the loading screen for a while, then that goes away and nothing else happens. I have found in my Limewire install folder a file (hs_err_pid8160.log), which begins

I can give more details from this file if needed.

I have the lastest versions of Java and Limewire, and am running Windows XP Home Edition SP2.

Also I would like to mention that I never had any problems with Limewire 4.12, but I had this problem with 4.14 and so went back to 4.12, now 4.16 gives the same error, and now I would like to fix it.
