Default Can't open downloaded songs with iTunes? Help plzzz

Hi guys,

I am real sorry if this has been posted before, but I searched for an hour here and could not find a topic so posting it myself.

Ok, I downloaded a song, the song become available in Limewire song area for listen and all.

I select the song and click on EXPLORE button. It brings me to the song in file style view. I right click on the song and select OPEN WITH iTUNES. Noting comes up in iTunes.

NOW, here is the thing. I have tryed this method ever since I have gotten Limewire. It has workd 95% of the time, once I right click open with iTunes, the song has come up on iTunes, but this time it is not working.

Do you guys know how I can fix this. Plz tell me the easiest method.

Some music formats are not playable by iTunes. iTunes is unable to play mp3pro format which also uses the mp3 extension. See if it happens with others.

Also, make sure in iTunes preferences it is set to Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to Library, option in iTunes prefs -> Advanced.

try moving the file into the folder where which iTunes keeps its music, if you haven't already. i you don't know where it is, it is usually under my music > iTunes > iTunes music
