"No LimeWire for you!" says somebody
 

Hello, everybody. i am new to the forums, and i think this is the right place to post this. move my thread if is not, thanks.

Well, there seems to be a problem with my limewire download, or something else. I got limewire to install, but when ever i launch the program, it just closes after a couple seconds. Just, bam out of the blue, just goes away. its not in the system tray, taskbar, hell, there is not even a running process associated with limewire. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try re-downloading the file from the genuine Limewire Homepage: Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « and it should be version 4.16.6 that you get.
If you are lucky you have not downloaded a virus and a new download could be all you need. I would advise you to run a thorough Virus scan over your computer before doing anything else.

Could also be due to other programs installed, so if reinstalling doesn't work and you are virus free, then post any details about your computer you think might be of importance. I have even encountered a new printer install turning of the limewire.exe process, which is just weird.
