How to display the title column? I've been frustrated for a few years now by the apparent lack of a major feature in Limewire. In the search tabs, it seems there's still no way to display the titles of songs. By titles, I mean the ID Tag which contains the name of the song. I'm not referring to the "name" column, which merely displays the OS filename. Filenames are somewhat useful but rarely do they consist of just the name of the song. It seems that all other IDs can be displayed (like Artist, Track Number, Album, etc) EXCEPT this most important one. The same problem exists in the Download pane. The title does appear if you hover the cursor over a song. But I can't spend hours hoving the cursor over thousands of search results. There must be a way to assign title to a column so it can be displayed and sorted. Every version of Limewire I've tried has this problem, including 4.12.15. Does anyone know what the programmers were thinking? How could such a major problem exist for so many releases? Could this feature omission have been intentional? Is there a work-around? Has this been fixed in the latest release? I can't afford to buy it if it still has this bug. Thanks! |
Hi rock4ever, I see you've exercised extreme patience between posts lol :D. As far as i know, nothing new has been implemented in the search results part of LW, but I'm not using the latest version. The only thing I could suggest is to post in the New Feature Requests section of the forum. I don't know if that gets much attention. Second suggestion is to try posting in the beta forums at LW.org and see if you get a response. LimeWire Forums (you'll have to register there). |
