I accidentally "unshared" my library...now all songs are gone!

Well, I did last night what I am afraid could have been a pretty decent- sized "oops." I opened up Limewire, and a window informing me that I was sharing 1000+ files popped up. Thinking I was sharing all those files with other people (and not just to iTunes, for example), I clicked the option to stop sharing files. Moments later I notice that they were all gone from my library....my shared files folder is now empty, and to is my saved file. And so is my recycle bin! Please tell me that there is some way to "re-share" these files..or better yet, to locate them period! Strangly enough, the ones I had previously transferred to iTunes are still working fine. Go figure..
