Playlist upload to new mobile phone mp3 Hi, this is my first post and I am hoping someone can help me.On line from down under and have just received a new work phone connected to the Telstra Next Generation network.Phone has a built in mp3 player and i am trying to upload my Playlists from Limwire on my Windows XP Pro. PC. My phone is a Telstra ZTEF159 and instructions say I can upload mp3 files to it. The problem is ,that when I try to drag files to the correct location to upload a warnig bar tells me the system does not support "m3u" files. Seems that the files I save on Limewire must be in this "m3u" format? I am totally confused can someone tell me if I can save these files as mp3 files? All my limewire down loads are shown as mp3 on the library list? Thanks from down under |
The m3u file name is usually a Windows Media Player Playlist file. If you make a playlist in WMP that is the nametype of file that it uses for it's playlists. You should be able to drag and drop individual mp3 files to your phone. It might not take the playlist though. I would try to drag a couple of mp3 files to your phone and see what happens. Perhaps in the past when you dragged and dropped in bulk there was a m3u file amongst the mp3 files and that is why your phone is rejectiing them. |
