Question LW Keeps changing my default player!

Hey all!
Apologies if this question has been asked a hundred times before (believe me I've looked and can't find a single answer) but I would be greatful if you LW peeps could point me in the right direction. I have LW version 4.18.1 with the very latest version of Java installed. Its runs pretty well to be honest and loads up, runs and shuts down as normal. BUT, I have one gripe that will not go away. I can't seem to get any downloads in at all be it video or audio to display my prefferred default player which for video (movies) is windows media player classic as it has the latest codecs installed that allow me to view video and windows media player normal for audio. When I do a search for both I get the little logo on the left that shows the player and its creative mediasource player. I don't want this! If I try to preview my download it won't play movie files as it says "unable to recognise the file format" as it is AVI or MPEG etc. It will play audio for obvious reasons as it is an all out audio player. Surely there must be a way to instruct LW to only display the wmpc logo that originally came up? What has changed? Please help! Thanks.

Default

Go to LW's library, click on Saved Files, highlight a file & then click Explore...your saved folder will open.
Now right click on a video file > open with > choose program > select wmpc from the list > tick the box to always use the selected program to open files of that type > ok.

Do the same for audio files & now both audio & video should open with wmpc
