this is a no brainer...

STOP USING LW IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sharing the entire contents of your C: drive is akin to suicide...end of discussion....

you say you cannot access the options of LW?????

I can only think that you have a virus of some sort...get that sorted out and continue filesharing when you're clean

I'd try Phex if I were you...

I didn't say you were stupid...and you didn't say you had stopped sharing (hmmm...now how did you stop sharing if you can't get into the settings??????)

simply move files out of C:\program files to where they belong...

if somebody could hack you, it wouldn't matter where your files were (as long as they weren't encrypted)....they would have access to all of them no matter where they resided...my comments were based upon the given information of apparently you were sharing you're whole C: drive (hmmm..now aren't your saved files on this drive?????) and you couldn't get into the options....hence its a no brainer to stop using LW....

i had the same problem with my limewire. it wasn't letting me into the settings, and it would re-open every time i shut it down. i uninstalled limewire, but i also had to go into my program files on my C drive and remove the limewire folder and empty my recycle bin. i had a problem doing that at first because i kept getting an error message about limewire trying to start. i had to be quick closing the message and deleting the files as soon as the message disappeared.
**remember to empty recycle bin after deleting folder**
