Default Limewire Pro 4.18.8

Hi members, I have just become a member of your forum because i am experiencing a problem which i cannot solve and was wondering if anyone in the forum has experienced the same problem with a solution. the problem is this:

I am using windows XP and have downloaded limewire Pro but after a while the picture is illegible, I have been told it is something to do with java script, but I have the lastest version. I have also enquired about Firefox 3.0.3 but to no avail, can anyone out there help me in this problem because i like and admire limwire pro. kinds regards

Can you explain the problem a little better? In what way is it illegible? Is it too small or too big or distorted? It would be helpful if you could post a screenshot.

Sometimes the graphics card can cause problems. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...tml#post140642

hi jimboclaire your computer could have picked up a virus or your graphics card needs updating. also try adjusting your screen resolution the pixels can some times distort pictures or video that u have downloaded apart from that you could buy a new computer only joking try downloading the same file and see if it happens again hope this was helpfull see u soon and good luck let me know what happens.

IronHorse666, Thanx for the advise. I have tried all the solutions you have posted, I have been told it's something to do with Java but having tried the latest version I am stumpt. This has only recently started and having been using limewire for about 4 years, you can understand my frustration, what makes it even stranger is that limewire works when i start the program, but that illegible screen only starts happening if i close the program to task bar.
