saving music file to nominated folder in Limewire I would like to change the storage of downloaded music file from the default (limewire) to one I will nominate. I can only see in tools/options where you can determine the folder for saving files. When I use the Save As option it takes me to the default location and I cannot change this despite it opens a Save Playlist As etc. Any clues anyone please? Ingin |
Go to Tools > Options > Saving, click the Browse button & direct LW to which folder you wish to download to. Simple as that. (If you are on Vista & Mac OSX then you must have system permissions to be able to use that folder directory.) See How to Change download location (click on link) |
Thanks L of the Rs I perhaps did not make myself very clear. I want to be able to nominate the playlist folder the file is loaded to when using the save as option. Sorry for the lack of clarity Regards Ingin |
I can load the downloaded tunes into ITunes, but it is not easy. The main problem I see is Limewire. The save as option always defaults to "Limewire/etc/ which is not helpful as ITunes is not within Limewire. It would be nice to be able to set a new user nominated location (eg. the ITunes folder) that would help everyone. Am I right? Ingin |
Oh ... yes it does default. But that file can be opened by iTunes all the same. Go to iTunes File menu -> Library -> Import playlist. |
L of the R, many thanks for your support and help Regards Ingin |
