![]() i can download no problem on limewire (cant play it on lime wire media player but thats another post!) my main problem is when i go to play it on windows media player i get an alert message saying "veryifying mp3codec.exe from mp3codecdownload" it tries to verify for a while, then another alert comes up saying "windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the items. any help as to what the problem may be would be greatly appreciated.

CODECs list for Movies/Audio/ Alternate players & check the codecs list. There are some specifically for windows users. There's also others such as freecodecs where you can search mp3 codecs.
Sounds like either your mp3 codec is oldish or the file(s) are mp3pro which you do not have a codec for.* Remember to be aware of fake mp3's: Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see) & remember those file sizes.
