Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Only limited video formats will import to iTunes ... mpeg 4 & H264.

Edit: Also, videos will show in their own section tab in iTunes. Click the Movies tab on left side of iTunes library to find videos. (earlier versions of iTunes showed videos in main library also. But now videos are only found in the video tab section!)
