I'm a mac person so I can't help you wiht wmp for burning. But, one of the most common issues with burning cd's is tyhat people think that oh my burner can burn at 50 speed or something, so they burn everything at that speed. But for graphic files such as music, it's always better to burn at the slower speeds. Patience is a virtue if you want quality.

As LOTR said... DO IT SLOW !
What difference does it make if it takes 18-20 minutes to do a 'burn' at the SLOWEST rate available... AND do it with a Simulation burn as well ???

A few extra minutes in the burning will benefit you with years of good listening...

And, I did not see it mentioned so will strongly advise you to NEVER USE CD-RW disks for music that you wish to play in 'normal' CD players.

(Strangely, the opposite is true for burning DVDs with a high success rate !)

I'd suggest 'practicing' the burning of entire disks and also track by track compilation disks using CD-RWs... Later you can 'erase' them...
After you have become good at the burning you can start using the CD-R disks with a lot more confidence and a lot less money wasted on 'coaster collections' !

p.s. Don't do ANYTHING else with your machine that involves Hard Disk Drive activity while you are burning CDs...
Multitasking as depicted in the movies only works in the movies !!!

what i am doing right now is putting my songs in a playlist, saving it, and then trying to open up the playlist in nero....I used to have Blubster and this was how the process worked so i just thought that this would be how lime wire worked...What is the download folder

Your dwnld folder is where your files are transfered to by LW once they have 100% completed dwnlding. It's location can be found out by going to LW's menu Tools>Options>Saving & this will tell you the name, location & path of your LW Dwnld folder. This is where you need to direct Nero to find your files.

If you also shared your LW dwnld folder, it would be listed in your LW Library window. In which case you could select one of the files in the list & press the Explore button & this would open the folder up for you. You could then drag & drop the files into Nero if your OS supports this.

ok...so maybe my head is fogged up by lots of cherry wood dust...certainly not any lacquer fumes for the last week....

just what does your post, Ninja Kaspyr 83, have to do with CD burning....now if this was a somewhat current thread, I might be able to believe you suffered from some sort of temporary confusion, but considering the last viable post on this thread (which obviously was not your post) was time stamped as 11/15/2004 it is obvious you are either A: retarded B: a dillhole...I vote for the latter...
