Can't play any music I have had limewire for a while. I just reinstalled my windows and redownloaded limewire. Now I download songs and they won't play like normal in limewire it opens windows media player. When it opens wmp it won't play because it says I do not have rights to play this file. Help! |
Nevermind everyone! I think I downloaded a couple of the "fake?" files. If anyone could help me in telling these apart from all the other one's though it would be greatly appreciated! |
Check file sizes in search results - if something looks too small (say less than 2000 KB) then chances are it's junk. You can look up files with Bitzi before download: How to use Bitzi If other users have rated the file, you'll see whether it's good or not. Fake audio files The ... before the extension, means it's a fake file! (unless the filename extends so check this by hovering your cursor over the name to see the whole filename.)
