Search yields no results

I've been using LimeWire for quite a few years now. It seems every few months when I search for soemthing it does not give me any results. I haven't changed anything on the computer, it just seems to quit randomly after a few months of use. In the past this has been repaired by uninstalling it and reinstalling it, or downloading the most current and installing. This has happened on 2 of the 4 computers in my house.

This time I've reinstalled it 3 times on my laptop and I still can't get any results for my searches. I had the same problem with Ares, which is why I switched to LW.

Any ideas? I have not changed my fire wall settings or anything to trigger this, and I've turned them off and still no dice.

Try the fixes in this link, different ones have worked for lots of people. Otherwise, run the condi program & send the info off to mrogers... the developers are trying to work out why some people have this problem & others don't: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/336823-post2.html
