Bugs and adding the Real Thing: very difficult to understand the Bitzi Bit Collider Utility

Hi, I find it very difficult to understand the Bitzi Bit Collider Utility....I tried to report a junk file and could not . Secondly, I would like to add a CD to LimeWire, one that I personally own. Please explain how I can do both. Thank you.

Firstoff: Did you buy distribution rights on that CD (or did you create all content yourself)?

If not, then it is very likely that your legislation doesn't allow you to put the CD online.

With the BitCollider I can't really provide much help without knowing more exactly what you did.

Besides: You stumbled into the Phex Forum with your question, which also is a Gnutella p2p Program, but isn't LimeWire.

Maybe that had a reason, and you should give Phex a try...

Have a nice day :)

yes you do need to look first before posting, try to find the correct forum section. :)

The Bit Colider utility has not been updated in a few years. A poor effort in my opinion. However, this utility is purely for listing your own files onto the bitzi website. From memory, instructions for using Bit collider are at the Bitzi site, else come with the collider program when you download it.

To report bad files, you can do that within the LW program itself; see How to use Bitzi Web Lookup ... & How to use Magnet Links & Direct Connect. The method is slightly different for LW 5, so make a note of that if you are using the new LW 5 version.

This thread will be moved to a LW forum section at a nearby time. :)
