videos completly lost
 

i downloaded videos to limewire and i had some that were highlighted red and some were the normal color well all the ones highlighted red wasnt on my limewire no more today but they were on there two days ago where did they go i already tried that system restore and it was unsucceful.

but my songs that are high lighted in red are still on limewire and the songs that are normal color are still there so wheres my videos

Are you using LW 5 or 4? This makes a big difference to know. Right-click those in Red & choose Share. That's if using LW 4. You can also select one & click Explore button. That will take you to their parent folder which you simply open & they will be inside. :)

im using limewire 4 no im talking about that i had videos in red yesterday and today i loaded up my computer and those videos in red are gone and the other ones that are in black are still there so where did they go??

Which window in LW do you mean? Library window I presume? Files that are Red usually mean the file is not being shared. ;) If you right-click them & choose share they will become black. If you restart LW & they are still listed in the library window & still red, then they are still there just not being shared. :)

Which folder are they listed in in the Library window? When you say you loaded them onto the computer, do you mean to share, or you started downloading them?

the videos that i had in my library on limewire itself the red ones are gone from my limwire and i cant find them on my whole computer.The videos that are black are still on my limewire and i can find them in different places on my computer to.I want to find the red videos that were 100% completed and saved to my limewire but i cant find them.What do i do?

Have you used your computer's search to look for some of the missing file names? Search all files & folders & make sure that you search hidden files & folders.

yes its no where it took me a long time to download those videos

Is there any chance that somebody else might've used your computer & deleted the videos? We've had people post here before saying that they thought red files were infected or corrupt... if somebody else has used your computer then maybe they thought the files were bad?

Otherwise, you could try a file recovery program: DELETING FILES FROM LIMEWIRE LIBRARY-DON"T! - File recovery advice!
