Limewire 5.1.2 crashes
 

I'm new, this is my 1st post...go ahead & scold me if I'm not doing this correctly!
Limewire 5.1.2
Java 1.6.0_13
Windows XP Pro
Cable
Default Media Player is WMP 11.1.5721.5260

When I click preview for an incomplete video file from either the bottom of the screen or the show all pane, limewire crashes most times.
Then I have to open Limewire again.
My default media player is WMP 11, but I have VLC, Infranview, WMP classic, winamp etc. installed.
If you suggest that I change to VLC as the default player for Limewire, could you tell me how to do that? Thanks for any help you could lend..

There seems to be a problem when using WMP for previewing or launching files. Change default player over to VLC .. that fixed the problem for the others. ;)

Setting Default video app. Right-click each video file type such as AVI, mov, mpg, mp4, etc. & choose Open with, choose VLC from list, then click option to always open with. ;) Need to do it for each type of video file. :)
