i hate limewire version 5
 

i hate limewire version 5! I can't do most of the things I could do w/ limewire 4.18.8 I don't understand what it is or isn't doing. I am not an advanced user, I don't have friends I share with. I want to go back to version 4.18.8 or if I haveto, get a different program. I liked limewire over kazaa, that I used to use.

Yes, LW 5 is missing several tools LW 4 has. Some tools will return in later releases, some won't return.

I'm a netbook user. And I only have 16gb on my netbook, so I bought a SDHC card to save files on it. The only thing I don't like about Limewire 5 is I couldn't download files directly to my SD card on my netbook, and it's because my screen size. (10") When going into options I can't click (or even see) the "ok/apply" button on the bottom. I can only close the window. Maybe you guys can update and put a minimize button in the options menu for netbook users.

Thankfully, Limewire 4.18 does not have this problem. I'm using this version for now.

Can you help please? I have a few big problem’s with Limewire Version 4.18.1 AND Versin 5.1.1??
Limewire Version 5.1.1 slows my computer to a stall’ Just by being opened on my desktop?? But when I opened it and tried to customize it, It just stalled Eg >Option’s>My Library>"download all of these folders to My Library" I could not uncheck the 2 I did not want to go in My Library like Doc’s, Video, Etc? none of these links work for at least 3 minutes OR until I Right Click it in the Task Bar and then >Close - it will come alive again until I Click something else’ and it will freeze again or It will just close?
It also happens after the 2nd try of Limewire 5.1.1 would Open and then just close all by itself and now that happens every time I open it?
Then with >Select New Folder/ after>Select/ nothing happens it Locks up the whole Page everything; Close, Restore, Select, Cancel, OK it locks the page for about 3 minutes OR until Right Click it on the Taskbar and then >Close it will come alive again or Just close’s.
When I click on Close from the Taskbar then it will work but as soon as I try to Click something else it stalls’
The other issue is that there are 11 Downloads that were in the Download Box and had Stalled on' "Waiting for More Sources" and every time I opened Ver 4.18.1 or 5.1.1 they are back in the download section again even though I had Cancelled them all the last time I was in there? this started over a week ago in 4.18.1 I have to delete Cancel them again every time I go to Limewire 4.18.8 and OR 5.1.1 ???
Another problem is that after I select “Limewire Media player” to launch & or Play in the Down Load or Library Box's, Limewire Media Player won't work Instead Media Monkey or iTunes load’s and plays the music ??? ??? This started over a week ago in 4.18.1 long before I installed 5.1.1?
Another Problem is that the “File Icons” are not appearing in the appropriate Library Column.
