Loading problems

After a system reboot, i find the Limewire will not not load correctly. Everything loads ok except for the line of (ticks) under the ? column which does not appear. I have reinstalled several times but the problem persists. ( i hope this is clear enough to understand)
Does anyone know what the problem is and how to resolve it?
I am using Limewire Pro v4.18.8
Windows XP
Broadband connection DSL

Ticks? Do you mean when you do a search, find files in the search results that you already have in your library? Or perhaps some spam files that show a tick.

No, sorry for the confusion. It loads ok as normal but when i go to the library page the display that usually appears is missing the row under the question mark (i think it appears as a row of ticks but not 100% sure). I use the Limewire PRO theme.
Without this function i cannot load anything onto the player.

? is for file type. Not sure why that would disappear .. or why it should make any difference. Have you tried swapping skin & see if that makes a difference & swapping back also

Alternative I can think of is deleting your LW preferences folder. But that means you need to set all your settings again. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...tml#post183932. And should only be done whilst LW is closed. ;)

Sorry if this info doesn't help (I'm not too sure what you mean) - do you mean that the player icon's missing? That's what appears under the ? in my library in 4.18.8. If that whole column's missing, right click on the column header & tick icon.

If you're seeing a different icon in the ? column than what you normally see, maybe you need to change your default player? See this thread for info: Setting default audio program
