Limewire will not open along with a few other applications

I've downloaded Limewire version 5.1.2 and every time I try to open it, I get this message: the procedure entry point _ismbcspace could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR71.dll. I'm running Windows XP and everything else seems to be working just fine. Any help would be appreciated.
