lw starts then freezes
 

for 2 weeks i have done everything in your forum that was suggested. but everytime it loads and then freezes.
i have removed lw three times. i have removed java and reinstalled. i have added new ports. THIS NEW LIME WIRE BITES!!!!
is there another file sharing site that works.
what is bearshare ware like or is it just an off shoot of lw.

You can easliy revert back to LW 4. Use the forum search to look for revert, or old installers.

What fixes have you tried? Which OS are you using? Which version of LW 5? Which version of Java? Do you have only 1 Java version installed on your computer?

LW & BS are both programs that you use to connect to the Gnutella network. They're not downloading sites - the network lets you connect to other people who are sharing files. If you want to know which BS version people recommend, look through the BS section of the forum.
