Unhappy Install on JRE 1.4?

How can I trick the installer so it will work with JRE 1.4?

Of course it's possible to make a parallel JRE 1.3.1 install, install Limewire, then change the path in the shortcut. But then I still need 1.3 installed; I had hoped to get rid of it.

Just For Info: I just downloaded and installed the new JRE 1.4 (uninstalled JRE 1.3 from Control Panel FIRST!) After installing JRE 1.4, just reassociated the LimeWire shortcut to the new JRE 1.4. Everything seems to be working fine, no problems! :-)

You can also go into regedit, and...

HKLM\Software\Javasoft\Runtime Environment

And replicate the 3 settings in the 1.40 key to new keys 1.3, 1.30, 1.31, and 1.32 - which makes the installer think you have 1.3.1 installed.
