![]() I use LW simply as a means of opening/downloading torrents. I mostly download e-books, and rarely share my files. Last night, I had LW open for only 20-30 minutes. In the morning, I noticed that several of my files were missing including personal text and document files that were on my desktop. In my saved Limewire folder, several of my PDFs are gone. Some of these files, including some .txt and.doc files, somehow would up in my recycle bin. However, there are still quite a few missing. Some of these files are pretty important, and I need them back. Any ideas as to what could have caused this? I already tried to use Undelete It to recover some items, but they're not showing up. They seem to have completely disappeared. I also searched hidden files, and tried system restore. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using LW version 5.1.4 and Java version 1.6.0_14 and running Windows XP Media Center. |

![]() sounds more like a hacker got to you did you acquire your version of LW from Official Website & Free Download - Lime Wire or .org?
