Default Options settings not saved

I'm using Limewire 2.2.1 Pro on XP pro. Many of my preferences are not saved as I set them in tools/options. They will stay for the current session, but the next time I use Limewire they are set back to defaults or some are missing.

Some specifics... The shared directories--sometimes it will forget all of them. Today it had forgotten three but kept one. Chat on/off was gone today. My freeloader setting was back to default. Number of searches at one time was defaulted. Minimum quality setting was default. Etc.

Angry Same Problem Here..

Yeah I'm getting the same problem. A bit of a pain. Each time I load Limewire I have to reset all my settings. Figure something this noticeable would be a show stopper in them not releasing
the 2.2.4 Pro client. Hope they come out with a fix soon!!!

I had the same problem.

When you close Limewire, it minimises to the icon tray and doesn't actually terminate. Limewire seems to only save its settings when it closes, but this doesnt seem to happen if you just shut down Windows.

Right click the icon in the icon tray, click EXIT, and your settings will be saved.

Hope this helps

I usually do close Limewire, since I run it on a laptop. It still won't save the settings.
