Becker!

You know the mods here are also the developers, they have only one REAL mod now...

How many are on bearshare.net? I mean VIPs... 10 or more?

You should be fair - if it is urgent send them a PM! Afisk always helps!

I just posted in the spyware thread that I got hit with that same spyware upon the uninstall -- I put a url for the utility to kill it.

BUT I still have that limeshop preferences hogwash stuck in my ie6 popup menu too

ARGH

Default There is in fact spyware I killed already from LimeWire

Perhaps you didn't read the FAQ?

2-1Q. I recently uninstalled some spyware, and now LimeWire won't launch.
2-1A. LimeWire requires certain components to be present in order to function properly. Please reinstall LimeWire.

2-2Q. I just found some spyware installed on my computer. Does LimeWire contain or install any spyware?
2-2A. Yes. As of LimeWire 1.8, LimeWire now installs other 3rd party software during installation. However, you have the option to decline installing several, but not all, of these components. For more information about this topic, ask around the forum for the most current information.

Honestly - that problem with the menu is unrelated I was mentioning because I was upset about spyware being installed AND about the bug where they didn't properly uninstall the IE6 link to limeshop
