Its been a while since i posted anything on the forum but please allow me to speak up here.

Spyware from uninstalling limewire..unlikely, more like you had the spyware on your system already. More than likely what happened is the spyware was activated because of the windows uninstall and because of this you thought it was because of limewire.
I can honestly tell you that in all the time i used limewire(basic and pro) i have not once had spyware on my system from them.
Another point to be made here as well, if you got limewire from anyother site other than Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « or Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com then it is your fault if you got spyware/virii/trojans or anything else on your system, not the makers/owners of limewire.
So please do not come on here and blame limewire until you are at least 100% sure of your facts and if you are then at least register and don't hide behind a unregistered name..

Lime Wire Do's not have any kinda Spy wear Data in the programing.The only other way it has it is you have downloaded off a nother site.This site is the main site there are fake site that clam are spy wear free but are not.And if any thing You most likely had the spy wear on your pc all ready.A lot of sites that you visit mostly have spywear add to them so they can track you and your habits.

lol guys, how about you have a look at the posting date.

BTW if I remember correctly Limewire did have some kind of ad/spyware budled with it, waaayy back in..

Two Shay I do remember now.
And i did not see the date My bad.
I though it was a new one.
But i though they ditched the Spy Wear.

They have as far as I know.. and it wasn't you that dug this up, it was the poster before you ;)

Even i emit i am wrong some times but i dont like to a lot.
