not installing due to...

I downloaded LimeWire and I started to install it. During the installation process, when it says downloading INSTMIA.EXE, after thats done an error message comes up saying:

This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package.
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\_is9045\LimeWire 2.3.1.msi

what does this mean and what do i do to fix my problem?

It sounds like you didn't get a complete download. The installer, once downloaded, should be about 3MB.
