Re: Upgrade vs Clean install

It was an "upgrade", not a clean install. However, when I tried it the first time, I too had all kinds of problems with the internet etc.

So I wiped out my hard drive, re-installed Win98 SE, and added no programs or drivers until after I completed the Win XP upgrade procedure.

That seemed to work just fine. No other problems, with the one expection of the trouble that I'm having with Limewire. I really do like XP, if I could just get Limewire to work.
