No words on Buttons?

I had limewire 2.2.1 now I have 2.3.3 and just before I updated the verson no words will show up on any of the menues or buttons. The words still appear in the connections i.e. the messages and protocall. First I thought a java problem and uninstalled and reinsatlled but that did not work what the heck?

Not their at all

No words appear at all. The only words that appear are the search results and the files you are sharing.

I had a earlier version when it started doing now i have 2.3.3 it so i uninstalled and reinstalled. Then I updated without luck so i figured that is was a way to make you purchase it so i did and still no luck.

I have other programs that run java and they seem to be working just fine. The words on the java console show up just as they should. It is the new version i just downloaded it yesterday.

what?

I have no idea what those are and how to change them.

tried already

I have tried already. I currently have gnucleus, gotella installed and they work fine for what the program has to offer. Both programs lack the connectiviey that limewire has. They take too long to connect with hosts.

Try downloading the the Java 1.4 JRE and running it again (LimeWire installs the 1.3.1_02 JVM by default). The newer JVM may solve this issue. It's available from:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html

You want the Windows JRE download, which is about 9.2 MB.

Good luck!

It works!!

Here was the problem. Their was a wireless program that I

installed to go with my wireless card and that installed a previous

version of java. This was conflicting with the newer version. I

simply uninstalled all of the java on my computer and reinsatlled

V1.4 and now it works.
