Oh, I read it was only a avi converter. Thanks. I use videora, but its basically flipping a coin. Some vids work, and some don't. One avi file might be converted, other won't.

And asx are like streaming media(or w/e). It's the files I get from nba.com and I wanna convert em. :-)

If you use Videora, can I pick your brain a bit?? Lots of people post about having problems with their audio after converting with Videora... the movie's fine but there's no audio. Can you tell me where the audio settings are & what people have to do to make sure that their audio's ok?? is there something vital that must be ticked/set?

I failed dismally with videora & so I can never answer this question:o

A definitive answer would be really geat:D

Well, in Setup ->Profiles, make sure the volume isn't too low...My bitrate is 128 kbps, and I use stereo.

Thanks!! So there's no other setting that could be stuffing up these peoples' audio?

Cheers:)

No prob. I didn't think that'd help that much. ;-)

I'll try getting some screenshots or something tomorrow

I thought I remembered reading on another forum that there is in fact a setting in Videora that allows you to include audio. Many people aren't aware of this & end up with no audio. I'm only going from what I read. But since there's 2 videora programs perhaps that only applied to the other one.

Yes LOTR I remember you saying that & I was hoping that da1nonly might be able to clarify it for me (& others). I visited a couple of forums while I was looking at Videora but it was a while ago & I can't remember the sites!!

I must've been trying to use the impossible version of Videora;)

You'll notice a couple of FAQ's which state that Videora for iPod does have some bugs. One of them being with audio.

Wow, that's a lot of links;)
I did some research too & managed to convert a couple of videos with no audio problems. The audio settings I used:
Bitrate - 128kbps
Channels - stereo
Sample Rate - Input (default)
Volume - 100%

*Also converted one file at 200% volume but it made no difference to the volume when playing the video in iPod. So da1nonly's settings were right for me!
