clearing history

How do I clear any download history or is it automatically done when I shutdown. I cannot find any refernce to it.

Will automatically disappear when you close down. But when you search you have a drop down menu which gives you the option of using autocomplete or of clearing previous searches. If you don't like this at all then go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>View>Autocomplete & disable option.
