Thanks, I will contact CC. Looks like they're using the term ALL-Limewire to scam the unwary (like me).

Sorry to be so obtuse. I can see the button for "New Posts" but, once I click on that, I don't see where I start a "New Thread".

Anyway, at least you confirmed for me that I WAS/AM being scammed.

BTW, I would suggest you get rid of the version of limewire you have, as it may be full of spyware and stuff...Download the legit version from the link I gave you....

Just fyi, I got onto the REAL LimeWire site and downloaded (and paid) for the PRO version. Next, I'll take care of the issue with the SCAM problem.

Sorry another intrusion!

The red is as suggested by Angry Pirate, unless you see them in the incomplete folder. That's another story.
All shared files start off red when you 1st open LW. But one by one LW will account for them & they will turn black. But those that remain red are not being shared. You can right-click the file to begin sharing or stop sharing. Same applies to the folders.
