Songs won't download
 

I've searched through a few pages here but haven't been able to find my problem anywhere.
I can search songs just fine, but when I try to download it says "Connecting" for up to ten minutes, then always ends up saying "Needs More Sources". If I tell it to find more, it counts down from a ridiculous number of seconds and ends up telling me "Awaiting Sources". I've left it to sit a good hour and a half to no avail.

Also, when trying to download a number of the same songs at once (to see if any of them would work), I got asked if I'd like to rename the file or the other option which just adds the [1] at the end. I chose the rename one by accident and now it won't let me change it. Is there any way of changing it back? I've searched the program but can't find a thing on it.

Any help on this topic would be great. Thank you!

First off the songs you were trying to download were most likely fake files that were spam. If you want to change the settings you could always go to Tools>Options and then click restore default settings. But you may want to write down the settings you want to keep so you remember how to set up the settings.

I Need Some Help With Something Along These Lines. Old Limewire User And Have Just Upgraded To Pro. Can Search And Get Results But Cannot Download. No Little Open Folder Appears On The Selection And Nothing Appears In The Download Progress Box. What's Happening Here. Oh And I Read The Advice To Someone Else And Did The Little "your Test Worked" Thing And My Test Worked!!!!! Please Please Help!!

Same Exact Problem, and it's not a settings issue!
 

I haven't used Limewire in about two weeks. Nothing has changed on my computer as far as firewalls are concerned and now I can't download any songs. OKAY, one thing changed on my computer. I installed bluetooth. Now that tried to create a "bluetooth connection" which I turned off, but could the firewall settings have been altered by the inclusion of bluetooth on my computer?

Like I said, I have the exact same problem as above and nothing has changed on my computer other than installing bluetooth.

Help please!?!

I'm having a similar prob., when you type in your search does it just keep searching and nothing shows up??? Thats what mine is doing. It doesn't show any results...does any one know whats going on???

Okay, so i've had limewire for a really long time and i recently upgraded to the 4.16 limewire and now that i try to download songs, it searches just fine but then when i try to download it all it says is Queued and it doesn't even say Connecting or anything. And this problem just started when i upgraded, this also happened to my dad when he upgraded and his still doesn't work..suggestions??
