Can our network administrator view my activities in limewire?

Any good admin can inspect the packets going through a network.

Why would they bother though--it's a lot of work.

So, if your file transfers or other behaviour warrants the attention, then yes, the admin might need to get more info on the packets you are sending and receiving.
