only runs right after the installation
 

I have the weired problem..

After installation, it runs perfectly for only one time.

After that, if I execute LimeWire, Windows pops up an error message and says there is an error while running LimeWire.exe.

If I uninstall and re-install LimeWire, LimeWire runs, but for only one time again.

So I have to uninstall and re-install LimeWire whenever i want to run it.

Very strange... Can anybody help me?

By the way, I am using ThinkPad R52, and Windows XP Home Edition.

Exactly what does the Windows error say?
Try removing your version of Java & reinstalling the JRE using the offline installer

Then reinstall LW & use it's offline installer

Are you using any antispyware? Some will see LW as a threat. If so, try disabling any antispy & see if LW will run more than once! You might need to add LW to the list of exceptions/allowed apps.
