help downloading videos from limewire to itunes to pod

i will download a video from limewire then put it onto my library in itunes, but it wont download to my ipid. do i have to format it? what are the steps in putting it on my video ipod??? help PLZ!! thx :confused:

when i choose what type of video i want to download do i choose AVI, MOV, MPEG, Or MPG?
