i have a MAC

i'm a first time LW user. i have just uploaded the new Free software and though everything seems to be working fine: the program loads smoothly, it connects, i can do a search and files show up. when i select them and press the dowload button nothing happens. if i try the other two icons next to the download button the program works fine and connects me to those options.

i have browsed the forum and thought i'd try reinstalling the latest Java version to no avail.

can anyone help?

i have no spyware

Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 900 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 5.1.8f7

Check that this isn't your problem: License requirement (click on link) & check the suggested settings & 1stly to reset it to normal.

you might be right because i do remeber ticking the option that would allow me to download diregarding the licencing. however what's even stranger now is that when i'm in LW and go to Tools, all I get is Statistics and no other options.

Apple preferences are found under the Limewire menu bar. Keyboard shortcut is ⌘ ,
Somehow I don't think you looked at the sample images. Or perhaps you replied before you realised.
