Depends a lot on your connection & how fast that is! Also how many hosts you're downloading from & their connection speed. Pro will let you download from a couple more hosts than basic ( normally 10 hosts but 14 if you have a T3 connection). So, if you're downloading from the maximum number of hosts, your downloads could be faster.

If you use the forum search, you'll find lots of threads discussing the pros & cons of Pro

Lots of people see buying Pro more as a donation towards the future development of LW
