howdy all!

i just picked up a swank little macbook. but, the thing won't let me download limwire completely. i downloaded directly from the limewire site, but the limewire icons appears for only for a second on my bottom program bar, then disappears.

my computer tells me that downloading is complete, but i cannot access any files. very confusing. could it be a firewall? if so, how can i skirt it? is it just my rookie-ness coming through?
