The right way to uninstall (for Windows) is via start > all programs > limewire, then use the uninstall option. Removing through add/remove programs can cause problems. You could always try reistalling LW (this should remove the old version automatically), then uninstalling.
Or you could use your computer's search & delete things that way:)
