Problems installing Limewire
 

I'm sorry if this has been disussed before. I am having problems installing limewire. I have downloaded it from the internet okay but during the installation a menu box asks to choose your connection speed but there is no "next" box to click so I'm stuck. Has anyone any idea about what's gone wrong? Thanks very much for any help and advice.

try hitting 'enter' on your keyboard..and you may very well need to have Java installed on your machine

Thanks Peerless. for your advice and the link to a Java download that actually works. I've been able to advance a few boxes through the install menu but now it won't advance on the box after the scan asking to share other folders. Help!

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

If still no good, then try point 5 in the link I gave. ;)
