I am very new to Lime Wire & down loading.

AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3200+
2.19 GHz, 512 MB of RAM
How long does it take to down load movies? Mostly kid stuff. What type of file should I down load from? Is there a difference?
I have a cable modem.
Music. Some I can not find. Why is that?

Stay away from .mov & .wma files to be on the safe side. How long it takes to download depends on file size, number of hosts you're downloading from, their speed, your speed etc.
