JRE is screwing me over
 

I had to reinstall Limewire, and when I did it said that I already had JRE java installed and I had to uninstall for it to work. I tried that, it did'nt work, and I have tried every variation of deleting and reinstalling with both programs. I need help, any suggestions?:confused:

Have you been using offline installers?
Try this (sorry if you've already done it):

Download the offline JRE installer. Remove your current Java version before installing the new one.

Reboot your computer.

Now, reinstall LW but make sure to use the offline installer. No need to uninstall the old LW, installing a new version should do that automatically.
