 Wow, that's a bit weird. Try deleting the LW preferences folder (make sure no version of LW is running), see points 2 & 3 below. Fixes for LimeWire If you've used an old version of LW in the past, you could have a preferences folder in the location described in point 2 and/or point 3...so make sure to check both  The folder within Application Data's hidden, so you'll have to show hidden files & folders to be able to see it.Once you've deleted that folder, try reinstalling & see what happens. Use the offline installer (not the recommended one). http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml Please use the installer from the official site...it's safer.
